Maca powder is a good source of calcium, potassium, protein and other important nutrients. It is beneficial for increasing strength and energy. It can also help to improve hormone functions and prevent mood swings. Black maca is said to be especially good for boosting the memory. Therefore, this black maca and cinnamon nut milk is a nice drink to enjoy at any time of the day in order to boost both the physical and mental powers.

The honey adds a sweet touch, maybe almost too sweet, but you can always ease up on it if you like.

Ingredients:

1 cup Almond Nut Milk
1/4 cup Hot Water
1 tsp. Coconut Oil
1 heaping tsp. Black Maca
1/2 tbsp. Honey
A few dashes of Cinnamon

Optional:

1 tsp. Kapikachu Seed Powder

Instructions:

Heat the water and add it to the coconut oil and honey, and blend until all ingredients have been dissolved. You can use either a blender or a stick blender. I prefer to use a stick blender because I find it is the easiest way to do it.

Then add the maca and blend again. If adding kapikachu you can add it at this stage as well. I find that it compliments the drink well and also adds in additional nutrients.

Next add the nut milk and give it a final blend in order to obtain a frothy drink.

Once blended pour into your favorite cup or mug and sprinkle with the cinnamon. You can give it a quick stir to create a cinnamon swirl, just for fun.
