Tomato Juice

Tomato Juice

A tomato juice recipe with parsley, a carrot, celery, green onion, lemon, and a hint of garlic. Sea salt may also be added to help bring out the flavor.

This vegetable juice is not something that you would serve at your social event, but rather something that you would drink by yourself. The reason being is that it is not that tasty. But nevertheless, it is loaded with great nutrients.

If you are new to juicing vegetables, then you might just want to sip it. I like to sip it simultaneously with my lemon water to help get rid of the taste. Adding the lemon and sea salt also helps to take away the taste of the vegetables, thus the more you add (to a certain degree), the better the flavor will be.

Hope you enjoy!

The recipe makes about 4 cups.

Recipe Ingredients

5 large Tomatoes
12 sprigs of Parsley
1 Celery stalk
1 Carrot
1 Green Onion
1/2 clove Garlic
1 Lemon
Sea Salt to taste (optional)

Wash your vegetables and send them through a juicer, all except the lemon. Squeeze the lemon by hand and add the lemon juice to the rest of the juice. (This helps to avoid having to peel or seed the lemon).
